I've been in this business since 2010, retired in 2020 after 10 years of hard work. Deep inserts and the green cats on the ATM era is done. But for me, that's what made me millions of dollars. Now? I would not recommend waste your time in 2025 trying to plant deep inserts inside the ATMs because 99% you will get caught or lose your skimmer inside the ATM because of modern security.

So, I used my resources to find what's next. Like this AI situation on the planet right now. I talked with a lot of people and some of them already big players in this space. On this business you gotta anticipate what's going to work next if you want to survive. I had the chance to talk with one of evade-tools.com tech engineers about nowdays skimmers situation and I want to share with you because everybody is talking about 'skimmers' but not single one of them did in fact a valid research.

So, I will go more deeper into this subject about GSM skimmers that most of people don't know what a real GSM Data Receiver is and I'm not reffering of these wi-fi antennas that Indians are trying to sell you for few bucks ( )

GSM SDR Skimmers without any physical contact (popular name: GSM Data Receiver)

Is it possbile or not? This SDR GSM skimmer does not need any physical contact to the ATM itself, that's what most people will keep telling you. A GSM Data Receiver is a small GSM SDR (Software Defined Radio) which plugs into a laptop via the usb port and with a dedicated software developed to run modules from the hardware component which will receive all ATM details and card informations and also POS terminals. Collected information is stored in a text file on the hard drive and can be later retrieved. Well, this GSM hardware part I'm reffering is real and does actually exist and work, but not the type of atennas I presented you at the top of this topic.

SDR's does in fact actually work at the required frequencies that GSM operate on. The GSM S-3812A is a complete Quad-band GSM/GPRS receiver that can receive on 800MHz up to 1900MHz GSM frequencies. While it can receive, it can also transmite Voice, SMS and data information. The GSM Skimmer hardware is real and is massed produced by a lof of genuine manufactures, but few know how to proper code it. If you see any other hardware that claims to be a GSM Skimmer, make sure you can research it and that does actually operate on GSM Channels etc.

It is possible to decode the frequency banks are using? The video here shows an example of GSM Data that can be received with the SDR. This was taken with the well known software wireshark which runs on windows OS. You can see some of the GSM information. However you cannot see voice or text message as that part is encrypted.

To capture live data thru the GSM Data Receiver SDR you will need to choose which frequencies or channels are working in the local area. For a lot of countries its the 900MHz, but in the USA it starts from 800MHz. There are also channels located in the other parts of bands including the 1800MHz and 1900MHz. It changes from country to country.

As previous said, everything is encrypted. GSM SDR uses the A5/1 Cipher and variations of it. In august 2009, Nohl and Krissler spoke about the A5/1 Security Project. They were able to generate rainbow tables which were used to attack and break the A5/1 cipher, which was used in the interception software provided by the AIrProbe project. So this was back in 2009, skip forward to 2025 how technology moves the GSM, in fact, can be decoded.

Now to answer the question most of you have about ATM data encryption. Is the ATM's data encrypted?

ATMs support the stardard 3DES encryption protocol, however some ATMs still support old style standard DES encryption keys. After 2002 (but before April 2003) any ATM is required to be capable of 3DES encryption. Starting with December 2005, all ATMs must support the 3DES and have encryption key installed while operating. In 2018, DES was cracked by using a normal computer with frequency attached to it. They managed to break DES in less than 3 days. The ATM Protocol can be borken as well as GSM can be decoded.

As a matter of fact, if you think Indians can provide you this type of technology selling you some randon wi-fi antenna for pennies be my guest. You need to put more efforts to understand how this is working before spend your money on it.
